How does my organization decide on a selling price?

The suggested sale price is between $15 to $20. The minimum cost per plate for your organization is $8.50. By increasing the price parents pay, you can maximize your fundraiser profits.

Will my organization need to collect the money and order forms?

Yes. Once a fundraiser has been created, teachers can download custom parent payment forms that they will send home with the students. The forms will have the fundraiser information including the teacher’s name and pre‑determined selling cost of the plate. Collect the payments along with the payment forms to determine which students will be participating in the fundraiser.

Is there a quantity limit on how many plates can be ordered?

Nope! When the templates are finished and uploaded to your account, there will be an option for quantity. Select the number ordered and we’ll handle the rest.

What size is the template?

Templates are designed to be printed on standard 8.5" x 11" paper. Templates must be printed from the originally downloaded file. No photocopying is allowed, as it will not replicate the light grey bleed section of the template.

What happens if the child colors or draws outside of the designated area?

Any important detail that are placed in the light grey outer rim may be partially or completely cropped off when transfered to a plate. Make sure your kids know to color out to the black circle, but do not place important graphics such as words in the outer grey border. Coloring over the black alignment target squares will prohibit cropping and make the art not elegible for the scan-and-upload discount.

Will the colors on the finished plate match the artwork exactly?

Not likely. Colors will shift slightly depending on the scanner used and printing of the art.

Can I use glitter or glue?

NO! Unfortunately, glitter or any glued items on the template will cause issues with scanning. Any artwork submitted by mail with objects glued to the templates will be rejected.

Are the plates BPA-free?

Yes! Our plates are made from high-temperature medical-grade plastic. No chemicals leaching out and no worries. Our plates are FDA and CPSC (Consumer Product Safety Commission) compliant.

What if there’s a problem with the order?

We never anticipate an issue, but we’re here to help in case one comes up. Your organization should designate one person to contact Platecasso about any orders or product information. You can contact Platecasso customer service within 30 days of receipt.

How long will it take to receive our order?

Once your order has been submitted and approved, allow 10 business days to receive your finished products. Please keep this in mind if your event is targeted towards a specific season or holiday, please plan accordingly.

Is the plate dishwasher safe?

It sure is! It’s also safe to use in the microwave and oven (with temps less than 250° F)!
